Republic Bank of Arizona’s participation in IntraFi’s Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) and Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Services (CDARS) allows us to provide additional FDIC insurance coverage for significant balance clients. Customers can access multi-million-dollar FDIC insurance and earn interest, all through a single relationship with RBAZ.
Customers have the peace of mind of knowing that the full amount of funds placed through ICS and CDARS can stay local to support lending opportunities that build a stronger community.
How it Works
Large deposits are divided into amounts under the standard FDIC insurance maximum of $250,000. The amounts are then placed into deposit accounts or CDs at multiple FDIC-insured banks. As a result, you can access FDIC coverage from many institutions while working directly with Republic Bank of Arizona.
You’ll receive one statement for each service option in which you participate and access key details about demand and savings accounts online, 24/7. And, as always, know that your confidential information is protected.
Protection for Your Cash
Earn returns and keep your cash protected through economic ups and downs with access to millions in FDIC insurance. No one has ever lost a penny of FDIC-insured funds. In addition, with ICS and CDARS, your funds aren’t subject to floating net asset values that can lead to loss of principal and erased returns.
