Rodney D. Larson (Rod)

Rodney D. Larson is the bank’s CEO and President. Mr. Larson has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Over his career he has had expanding lead financial roles as chief financial officer, controller and corporate tax manager giving him a wealth of experience. He most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of an institution that began as a de novo institution growing to over $400 million in total assets. Starting as controller, he later became interim president of that institution guiding it through a merger. Previously, Mr. Larson was Vice President, Assistant Controller and Corporate Tax Manager for a multi-billion dollar institution in Minnesota, later acquired by US Bancorp. Mr. Larson is a CPA. His five years with KPMG Peat Marwick helped prepare him for his financial career. Rod thrives on the challenges inherent in running a bank and says that meeting these challenges and rewarding all involved is one of his main motivators.

Joel A. Gallon, CPA is RepublicBankAz's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gallon is a graduate of Grand Canyon University with honors and a degree in Accounting. Following graduation, Mr. Gallon joined McGladrey and Pullen, LLP as a financial statement auditor, where he specialized in audits of community financial institutions in the southwestern United States. In 2002 Mr. Gallon became the Chief Financial Officer of IBEW Plus Credit Union in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then became a founder and Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Bank 1440, Phoenix until joining the team at RepublicBankAz in March 2012. Mr. Gallon also serves as a director and treasurer for the West Valley Lutheran Thrift Shop in Peoria, Arizona.
